Paris Saint-Germain to sign Man Utd defensive target?
Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly favourites to sign Manchester United target Pau Torres at the end of the season.
The centre-back was a top target for the Red Devils last summer, but manager Erik ten Hag vetoed the proposed move.
The Dutch tactician decided to sign Lisandro Martinez from Ajax instead and United are no longer keen on Torres.
It is now reported by The Mirror that Les Parisiens are in talks with Villarreal and are expected to sign the Spaniard.
Torres has already fulfilled his ambition of playing in the Champions League with Villarreal and he is ready to move on.
Tottenham Hotspur have also been linked with the 26-year-old but it appears Les Parisiens are the clear front-runners for him.
PSG recently suffered another early setback in the Champions League and they are now focusing on bolstering their defence.
The club already have an agreement in place to sign Milan Skriniar. He will join for free when his Inter deal expiring in June.
