Man Utd enter race to sign Joao Felix
Manchester United have reportedly joined Chelsea in the race to sign Joao Felix on a permanent basis.
The Red Devils wanted to land the Portuguese on loan in January but Chelsea beat them to his services.
However, they are prepared to try again this summer, provided Atletico are willing to lower their fee.
Atletico currently value him in the region of €140 million but they are unlikely to receive such a price.
Mundo Deportivo claim that United could make a genuine move for Felix if the fee is around €100m.
Chelsea are also expected to make a move for the Portuguese but they can only afford staggered payments.
They are tight with Financial Fair Play amid their huge spending and are no longer in a position to spend freely.
Felix has opened the door to joining the Blues on a permanent basis.
The Blues don't have the option to buy him in the summer and will have to negotiate with Atletico separately.
