Chelsea want to sign Romeo Lavia and Manu Kone
Chelsea are interested in signing Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia and Borussia Monchengladbach ace Manu Kone this summer.
The west London giants are likely to reinforce their midfield in the next transfer window and a young defensive midfielder could be targeted.
Lavia has been monitored by the Blues scouts over the past few months while there has been speculation that the club have contacted Kone's camp.
Romano has now confirmed that the club are interested in landing both players in the summer but the final decision rests on Mauricio Pochettino.
Pochettino has been in talks with the Blues over the managerial role and he is expected to take charge as their new manager during the summer.
The Argentine is set to work on a pre-planned project from the owners but will be given the luxury to choose between the transfer targets.
Lavia has been hugely impressive in his maiden Premier League season but Kone has equally excelled in the German top-flight with Gladbach.
