Chelsea set for financial boost if Arsenal sign defender
Chelsea are set to receive a massive financial boost if Arsenal sign Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi this summer.
The Blues sold the centre-back to the Eagles in the summer of 2021 but they included a 20 per cent sell-on clause.
It is now reported that Guehi could make the switch away from Selhurst Park this summer amid interest from Arsenal.
Palace are set to command £50 million for him and Evening Standard claim that this will benefit the Blues too.
The west London giants are currently tight in terms of Financial Fair Play and need to recoup funds this summer.
While they are not keen on re-signing Guehi, they could receive £10m if Arsenal were to sign the central defender.
Aside from the Gunners, Tottenham Hotspur and Newcastle United have also been linked with the talented star.
Guehi has his sights on playing Champions League football after making steady progress with the Eagles this term.
Manchester United are also deemed to be monitoring him.
