Chelsea legend Joe Cole has told Tottenham, Chelsea and Manchester United that they should be looking at signing Wolves star Raul Jimenez to solve their striking issues.

The trio of top-four chasers are all believed to be in the market for a new forward during the January transfer window, as they are struggling for consistency in the final third and also face injury concerns.

While they have all been linked with a host of top names across Europe but Cole has questioned why they are not looking at signing Wolves ace Jimenez.

The Mexico international has netted scored 10 goals and contributed six assists in the Premier League this season, making himself one of the most reliable forwards in English football.

As a result, Cole, admitting that Wolves fans won't thank him for saying it, pushed for his former side, as well as Spurs and United, to make a move for the 28-year-old.

“Wolves fans won’t thank me for saying this but if I’m Chelsea, Tottenham or Manchester United, with a chequebook ready to go, he’s the first name,” he told BT Sport.

“If you want someone to make an instant impact in your team, he knows the league, he knows the flow of English football. It’s all well and good being part of a project but when United, Tottenham or Chelsea come for you, it will maybe turn your head.

“For me, he could quite easily play in any one of those teams, he’s got so much ability. He’s one of my favourite players to watch.”
