Manchester United are reportedly in talks with French giants Paris Saint-Germain over a move for 19-year-old Eric-Junior Dina Ebimbe.

Central midfielder Dina Ebimbe is currently on loan at Ligue 2 side Le Havre, starting 18 of their 20 league matches this season.

Should Le Havre win promotion this year, then the current arrangement means they would keep Dina Edimbe for a further 12 months.

However RMC Sport report that United have already begun conversations with PSG to sign the youngster in the summer.

It’s claimed that the Ligue 1 champions have a policy that they will not keep their young stars on they do not wish to stay.

Le Havre are currently sixth in the French second tier, ten points off leaders Lorient.

That could make things easier for United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with the Norwegian keen to strengthen his midfield.

Paul Pogba looks set to leave Old Trafford, more likely in the summer, while Nemanja Matic could also depart.

Solskjaer is yet to make a transfer this month, despite being strongly linked with a move for Bruno Fernandes.

And Old Trafford legend Ryan Giggs has admitted Solskjaer needs to strengthen that area of the pitch.

Giggs said on beIN SPORTS: “I don’t think he [Solskjaer] has got the players.

“I think he’s a couple of players short in actually changing that way of playing. That No 10, the focal point, and also a midfielder.

“Whether Pogba’s that, he’s been so inconsistent, on his day he could be that player.

“They’re missing maybe a Grealish or a Maddison, a player like that which could unlock the door. Because of the pace we’ve got, it suits the way they play.”

Manchester United are next in action this weekend as they feature in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

The Red Devils will face either Watford or Tranmere, with those two doing battle in a third round replay tonight.
