Kyle Walker will play against Tottenham for the first time since his £55million move to Manchester City during the clash in Nashville on Saturday.

Both teams have had mixed preseason results so far, but City will feel they are in the ascendancy after a comprehensive 4-1 win against Real Madrid earlier this week.

Meanwhile, Tottenham cruised to a 4-2 victory against PSG last week before narrowly losing out to Roma 3-2 on Wednesday.

However, the clubs could not be further apart in the transfer market.

is yet to make a major signing for Spurs, while looks set to smash the record for spending the most money in a single transfer window.

The Spaniard has spent in excess of £200million already, bringing in the likes of Bernardo Silva and Benjamin Mendy to join Walker.

City fans hoping to catch a glimpse of Mendy in action will be disappointed after it was announced that the £52million defender will miss the start of the Premier League season.
