Tottenham fans react after West Ham’s Ryan Fredericks makes brutal comment about Spurs

Tottenham Hotspur fans are reacting after one of their former players, who is now at West Ham United, advised a Hammers fan to dump their Spurs-supporting girlfriend.

Ryan Fredericks, who began his career at Tottenham and moved to West Ham from Fulham last summer, was taking part in a Valentine’s Day Q&A session with teammate Andriy Yarmolenko on the Irons’ official Youtube channel.

Asked by an anonymous West Ham supporter what they should do with their Spurs-loving partner, Fredericks replied swiftly: “Dump her! She’s gone. She has to go, my friend!”

Unsurprisingly, the right-back’s response has gone down well will those of a Hammers persuasion.

But what have their Tottenham counterparts had to say?

Fredericks has only played nine times for his new employers in an injury-hit campaign.

He could make his first return to Tottenham when West Ham travel to north London at the end of April.

The 26-year-old only played four times for Spurs, whose academy he progressed through, before his 2015 transfer to Bristol City.

How’s the former Tottenham Hotspur player been doing at West Ham United?
