Arsenal star Laurent Koscielny is a summer target for Ligue 1 giants Marseille as well as Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City

According to reports in France, the French centre-back is in talks with Marseille along with Premier League rivals City

LAURENT KOSCIELNY is being chased by Ligue 1 side Marseille as well as Premier League rivals Manchester City.

The 31-year-old remains the linchpin of the Arsenal defence, but their constant failure to capture a league title could tempt him to leave the Emirates.

According to French TV programme Telefoot, the centre-back is high on the list of Marseille, who are determined to sign high-profile Les Bleus internationals .

They have already been linked with his team-mate Olivier Giroud, and recently lured away Dimitri Payet from West Ham in the January transfer window as well as Patrice Evra from Juventus.

The Citizens are also in the running to try and nab the former Lorient star away from North London, with Pep Guardiola eyeing up a major reshuffle of his defence in the summer.

There's no evidence to suggest Koscielny would be open to a move away from Arsenal considering he recently penned a new -long-term contract earlier on in the campaign.

He has made close to 300 appearances for Arsene Wenger's men and has won two FA Cup's, and could add a third to his trophy cabinet when they take on Chelsea in the upcoming final.
