Blackburn have failed in their attempts to sign Jermaine Jones permanently, after his club slapped a 10m GBP price tag on him. The American international will return to Schalke next year.
Jermaine Jones had been given an option to return to Blackburn on loan again for another season; but it seems that the midfielder will only return if it is a permanent deal.
Jones has been linked with a move to several top Italian sides this summer, including Palermo.
