Borussia Dortmund have made significant progress regarding a transfer for Nicklas Bendtner overnight. It is understood that the player and the German club have already agreed terms, and now Dortmund have offered 9m GBP for the Dane.
The German Bundesliga champions had originally only offered 6m GBP for the striker, not the required 10m GBP Arsenal were holding out for.
Bendtner did not make Arsenal's tour of Asia, as the player was left out to discuss a transfer with Borussia Dortmund.
The German club have moved a step closer to agreeing a fee, as they have offered 9m GBP and moved a step closer to the fee Arsenal are looking for.
