Blackburn could make a surprise move for former Wigan midfielder Jason Koumas, who is available on a free transfer.
According to reports, Koumas will be training with Blackburn in an effort to win himself a full time contract at Ewood Park.
It is understood that Koumas has a number of options in the Championship, but the 31 year old only wants to play in the Premier League.
