Tottenham defender Sebastien Bassong hopes a deal can be quickly agreed with Queens Park Rangers. The French centre back has been linked with a move away from White Hart Lane for several months.
Bassong is seemingly surplus to requirements at White Hart Lane, and the player wants to leave as quickly as possible.
Bassong very nearly completed a move to QPR during the summer transfer window, but Spurs cancelled the move at the last minute.
The defender revealed: "I thought they [Tottenham] would let me go, as they have a lot of cover in that position.
"I know they have to look after themselves, but I have to look after myself and my career. If I don't play, I want to move, be that QPR or somewhere else. I now just want to play."
