Preview: Norwich vs Blackburn

29 October 2011 - 08:32

A defeat to Norwich could spell the end for troubled Blackburn manager Steve Kean and see Norwich leapfrog Arsenal into 7th place. Blackburn's midweek Carling Cup win may have boosted morale, but Rovers need to turn that into league success come Saturday afternoon.

  • Mikel Arteta insists 27yo star won't be leaving Arsenal
  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town

  • Carrow Road is the venue where Blackburn need to find a win, with the team bottom of the league after 9 games having only one game.

Another bad performance by Blackburn and Steve Kean could be given his marching orders.

A 4-3 victory over Newcastle in the midweek Carling Cup is one plus point from a disappointing campaign so far.

Norwich, on the other hand, have only last one of their last five Premier League games.

    TEAMS

Grant Holt could return for Norwich after scoring against Liverpool at Anfield, but the Canaries will not be able to call on Zak Whitbread for this game.

Blackburn miss David Dunn, Vince Grella, Michel Salgado and Ryan Nelson.

    PREDICTION:

    Norwich 1-0 Blackburn
