Wigan could make a surprise move for Guly, the attacking midfielder currently playing for Southampton in the Championship. According to reports, Wigan could make a 1m GBP move for the player in January.
Guly has been one of the stars of a successful campaign for Southampton this season, with his goals and assists contributing to the Saints' top of the table position.
The Brazilian spent the 2010 season on loan at St. Mary's before a move was officially completed in 2011.
Wigan are looking for a creative influence to kick start their troubled season and have reportedly turned to the Brazilian playmaker.
