QPR no longer keen on Beckham move

Queens Park Rangers will not make a move for David Beckham, it seems, as club owner Tony Fernandes believes that the team has enough strength in depth already.

"Our strongest area is midfield right now so I'm not even sure where Beckham would fit in", said the Malaysian.<br />

"He appears happy where he is so that's a long-shot. But never say never."<br />

Beckham is expected to quit LA Galaxy in two weeks time and make a move back to Europe, with Paris St Germain fast becoming the likely destination.
