Blackburn manager Steve Kean wants to put his contract talks with the club on hold, until the team are able to work their way out of the relegation zone and focus on recovery.
Kean has a contract with Rovers until 2013, but is not a very popular man at Ewood Park and has been linked with a club exit several times over the past few months.
However, Kean wants to put his talks on pause for the time being:
"I don't think this is an appropriate time for where we are now.
"I would like to get ourselves in a position where I think we should be, and then we can talk about that."
