Liverpool back in for Christopher Samba

20 November 2011 - 07:33

Blackburn centre back Christopher Samba has been linked with a move away from Ewood Park yet again, with Liverpool the latest club readying an offer for the Congolese defender.

 • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
 • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
 • 27 year old Samba has been with Blackburn since 2007, and has signed two contracts to improve his contract at Ewood Park.
However, poor form this season has frustrated Samba, who is now looking for a move to a bigger club. Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish has reportedly decided to open discussions with Blackburn in January, with their eyes on a move for the former Hertha Berlin man.
Liverpool would be required to pay a minimum of 15m for the defensive star.
