Taye Taiwo wants AC Milan stay

Taye Taiwo wants AC Milan stay

26 November 2011 - 08:46

AC Milan left back Taye Taiwo will stay at the San Siro and fight for a first team place. Reports in Italy suggested the Nigerian defender would be farmed out on loan during the next transfer window.

  • Predicted Chelsea line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Aston Villa, Palmer starts
  • Chelsea suffer double injury blow ahead of Villa trip

  • A number of clubs in France and England are monitoring Taiwo's situation, and Tottenham are reportedly a club that holds a long term interest in Taiwo.

However, Taiwo does not want to leave the San Siro. The player, who arrived from Marseille only last summer on a free transfer revealed: "No, I will not leave. I’m at one of the biggest clubs in the world. What is there after AC Milan?"
