Liverpool to hijack Royston Drenthe move

29 November 2011 - 06:35

Liverpool want to hijack city rivals Everton's permanent deal for Real Madrid wide man Royston Drenthe at the end of the season. Kenny Dalglish will make a 5.5m GBP move for the Dutchman next summer.

 • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
 • Man Utd serious about signing Rafael Leao
 • Everton currently have Drenthe on loan at Goodison Park where the former Feyenoord man has become an instant fan favorite.
Real Madrid are ready to let Drenthe leave during the summer, but cash strapped Everton cannot afford to make a move permanent at this stage.
Liverpool are ready to make the first offer for the left back, and it's understood that initial discussions are already under way.
