Arsenal in surprise move for Eder?

19 December 2011 - 09:33

Arsenal have been linked with a surprise move for Ederzito, a relatively unknown striker currently playing in the Portuguese league for Academica. Eder's contract expires this coming summer and the player is expected to depart on a free transfer.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • Gunners' representatives have been monitoring the Guinea-Bassauan in action for his club and are impressed enough to offer a contract to the forward.<br />

Several other clubs in England are interested too, with Newcastle and QPR both monitoring the striker. Eder already has a Portuguese passport, so there should be no problem securing a work permit for the 23 year old.
