Queens Park Rangers will table a 10m GBP offer for Chelsea defender Alex. The ambitious London side, bankrolled by Malaysian billionaire Tony Fernandes, have promised a busy transfer window full of activity.
Chelsea defender Alex has been linked with a move to China to link up with Shanghai Shenhua, but it is understood that the Brazilian defender would prefer to stay in the Premier League.
QPR would have no problem matching the reported 80,000 GBP per week Alex currently earns, and the ambitious Premier League battlers will make an enquiry this week.
Alex had a transfer request accepted only last month, and Andre Villas-Boas admitted that the defender would be allowed to quit Stamford Bridge in January.
