Steve McClaren to return to FC Twente

Former England manager Steve McClaren is being lined up to replace Co Adriaanse at FC Twente. McClaren helped FC Twente to the Eredivisie title in 2010, and could be set for a shock return to Holland.

McClaren has previously struggled to emulate the success he enjoyed at Twente in his two most recent jobs, managing German side Wolfsburg and Championship strugglers Nottingham Forest.<br />

However, it appears that he still has a big fan base at Dutch side Twente, and the club are preparing a brand new two year contract for him.
