Norwich have been linked with a move for Spanish striker Francisco Sandaza. The St. Johnstone forward has scored 12 times in 17 games so far this year, but it appears that his agent is trying to engineer a move away to a bigger club.
The Canaries are reportedly impressed with Sandaza's stunning performances for St. Johnstone, who are ready to let the player leave cheaply now instead of losing the player for free during the summer.
"His contract finishes in May and although St Johnstone have made a very, very generous offer for him to continue at the club, it's not really what we're looking for," said the player's agent.
"Our intention is to move on at the end of the season to hopefully bigger and better things."
