Fulhams offer for Derek Boateng rejected

Fulham's offer for Derek Boateng rejected

09 January 2012 - 08:44

Dnipro defensive midfielder Derek Boateng has revealed that Fulham made an offer for him when the January transfer window reopened, but his Ukrainian club rejected the bid from the Cottagers.

  • Benfica make first move to sign Chelsea defender
  • Arsenal preparing fresh move for Aston Villa star
  • The Ghanaian international, aged 28, has only played a few games from Dnipro since completing a move from Spanish club Getafe; but reportedly wants to leave the Eastern European country already.

Fulham's offer was flat out rejected by Dnipro.

"When the transfer window opened Fulham approached Dnipro to sign me on loan but by club flatly turned down the offer," Boateng told MTNFootball.com.

"Fulham then offered to sign me in the summer but that was also rejected. So I won't be moving to Fulham."
