Queens Park Rangers chairman Tony Fernandes has laughed off rumours of an imminent bid for Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez. The Argentine forward wants to quit the Etihad Stadium for a move abroad.
According to reports, QPR were considering a shock loan move for the wantaway striker, who is believed to be in advanced discussions with both Milan sides.
"You never know - but it's highly unlikely," Fernandes told 5 live."He's one of the most highly-paid players in the Premier League and I think his mind is to go to another country."
Manchester City want to sell Tevez permanently and are not interested in a loan move.
