Bolton could make a move for Borussia Dortmund striker Mohamed Zidan on loan. The  Egyptian international has fallen out of favour with the Bundesliga champions and could quit for the Premier League.

  • Zidan has played in the Bundesliga since 2005, where he started his career with Werder Bremen and then Mainz, before a move to Hamburg and Borussia Dortmund.

Bolton have been offered the striker by his agent, according to a report.

"I am now 30 and I want to be playing regularly and not be second or third choice much longer," Zidan said this week. "Dortmund will only release me if Barrios stays, though. It's either Lucas or me - only one of us can leave."
