Bolton turn to Knox

18 October 2007 - 12:22

Archie Knox has been appointed caretaker manager of Bolton after the departure of Sammy Lee. Knox faces the tough challenge of a trip to Arsenal in his first game in charge.

  • Man City preparing talks for Chelsea defender
  • Chelsea make new decisions on Enzo Fernandez and Marc Cucurella
  • A statement on the Bolton website read: "Archie Knox will be in charge of first-team affairs until further notice following the departure of Sammy Lee.

"The 60 year-old Scot was originally appointed as coaching co-ordinator for Bolton Wanderers in August following a spell as Scotland under 21 manager, but will now be responsible for looking after the first-team until further notice."
