Galatasaray make offer for Andy Johnson

Galatasaray make offer for Andy Johnson

27 January 2012 - 05:56

Galatasaray have made an offer for Fulham striker Andrew Johnson this week, with a bid believed to be in the region of 3.2 million GBP being considered by the Cottagers. Johnson's contract with Fulham will expire at the end of the season.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • Johnson's future at Craven Cottage appears to be up in the air, as the club and player have been unable to come to terms on a new contract.

Galatasaray have been busy scouring Europe for a new striker, and appear to have decided that Johnson would be one of the best available options.

Sunderland have also been considering a move for the England international striker, whilst there also appears to be some interest from Russian side Anzhi.
