Liverpool make offer for Marko Marin

Liverpool make offer for Marko Marin

29 January 2012 - 05:06

Werder Bremen winger Marko Marin could be heading for the Premier League as reports from Germany yesterday suggested that Liverpool have made an enquiry for the German international midfielder. Liverpool are weighing up a £12 million offer.

  • Omari Hutchinson wants to continue at Ipswich Town
  • Mikel Arteta insists 27yo star won't be leaving Arsenal

  • 22-year-old Marin is very highly rated in his homeland and has been persistently linked with a move to Bavarian giants Bayern Munich, but has so far decided to stay with Werder Bremen.

According to the report, Bremen are unlikely to accept any offer from a team in Germany, and are prepared to do business with foreign sides but only at the right price.

Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish is desperate to add to his squad before the end of the January transfer window, and has reportedly turned his attentions to the talented playmaker who played twice for his country in the 2010 World Cup.
