Liverpool make last gasp offer for Tevez

Liverpool make last gasp offer for Tevez

30 January 2012 - 13:40

Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish will make a last gasp effort to sign Carlos Tevez from Manchester City on loan until the end of the season. Tevez's deal to sign for either Inter Milan or AC Milan appears to have fallen through, whilst a move to PSG has stalled at the last minute.

  • Yesterday, there were reports that Liverpool have offered the Argentinian striker an opportunity to quit the Etihad Stadium in favour for a move to Anfield; and that the Reds offered a season long loan switch seeing Andy Carroll move to Man City, whilst Tevez moves the other day.

Liverpool are prepared to match Tevez's full salary of 200,000 GBP if the player can be persuaded to join the club, and the Citizens are running out of options in their efforts to dispose of the player before the end of the transfer window.
