Racing Genk winger Kevin De Bruyne has arrived in London to finally put pen to paper on his move to Chelsea. The highly rated Belgian will sign a five year contract at Stamford Bridge, then return back to Belgium to play the rest of the season for his old club.

  • Eyefootball understands that De Bruyne has already agreed personal terms with the Blues, and Chelsea have also had an offer of 7.3 million GBP accepted by Genk for the player.

The last formality appears to be a medical, and De Bruyne is currently at Stamford Bridge working with the Blues' medical team and physios.

De Bruyne has been linked with a move to Chelsea for over a year, and the completion of the deal will end one of the longest running transfer sagas in recent times.
