Palermo defender Silvestre keen on switch

Palermo defender Matias Silvestre has been targeted by some of Europe's biggest clubs for a transfer in the summer transfer window, with Liverpool believed to be keen on the 27 year old.

The player's agent today admitted that a move for his client could be made soon. The 7.5 million rated defender was linked with a switch to Roma in January.<br />

&ldquo;He is tied to Palermo by a four-year deal, but I think he may receive a call from one of the big teams in June,&rdquo; the player's agent, Fernando&nbsp;<span data-scayt_word="Cosentino" data-scaytid="16">Cosentino&nbsp;revealed.<br />
