Liverpool have been linked with a surprise move for Barcelona winger Cristian Tello. The 20 year old Spanish youth international has enjoyed regular first team football at the Nou Camp this year, impressing Liverpool scouts.
Tello has played a part in eight games for Barca, scoring four goals, and has attracted interest from a number of other teams.
It is understood that Tello has only enjoyed first team action recently due to injuries to other key players in the squad, and he is expected to be relegated to the bench again in the coming weeks.
With just 18 months left on his contract, Liverpool are monitoring his situation very closely, and could make a move in the summer.
