Blackburn close in on Zenden move

Blackburn manager Steve Kean is hoping to complete a move for former Middlesbrough and Sunderland winger Bolo Zenden before the end of the week.

The free agent has reportedly been locked in talks with Rovers regarding a short term contract at Ewood Park.<br />

"Blackburn have made me an offer, but we have not yet reached agreement," said Zenden. "Their interest in very serious.<br />

"They are in a bad predicament and they need experienced players due to their league position - but that is the same situation for other teams interested in me."
