Blackburn fighting to keep Hoilett

22 March 2012 - 15:06

Blackburn manager Steve Kean is hoping that he can convince winger Junior Hoilett to stay at Ewood Park once the season is over. Hoilett's contract at the club will expire in the summer, and several teams are interested.

  • Juventus and Napoli enter race for Chelsea winger
  • Felix Nmecha linked with Chelsea move
  • Hoilett's recent performances have been nothing short of fantastic, as Blackburn won 2-0 against Wolves courtesy of two goals from their Canadian born winger.<br />

Manager Steve Kean wants to keep Hoilett, despite interest from Arsenal and Tottenham. He said: "We hope we can get ourselves to a position of safety and make him an offer,. We want him to stay here. He is playing out of his skin."<br />

At the end of the season, other Premier League clubs are free to make the winger a contract offer and he can move on a Bosman transfer.
