Bolton star Muamba thankful to docs, fans

Bolton midfielder Fabrice Muamba was yesterday released from hospital and paid tribute to club fans and to doctors at the London Chest Hospital.

  • Fabrice Muamba has made a miraculous recovery from a cardiac arrest that saw him fall to the ground at White Hart Lane against Tottenham in the Premier League.<br />

    But, thanks to the swift work of doctors, Muamba has been released from hospital just one month since his collapse.<br />

    "I am naturally very pleased to be discharged from hospital," Muamba said.<br />

    "I would like to take this opportunity to pay tribute to every single member of staff who played a part in my care.<br />

    "Now I am out of hospital, I am looking forward to continuing my recovery and spending precious time with my family."
