Clint Dempsey eyes Fulham exit door

USA international Clint Dempsey has invited offers from Champions League competitors, after the winger admitted that he would consider a move away from Craven Cottage.

  • American international coach Jurgen Klinsmann told reporters that Dempsey needs to pursue a move away from Fulham if he is to fulfill his potential, and needs to play in Europe's premier competition the Champions League.



    Now the American forward admitted he would be open to offers: "The transfer window is open until Aug. 31. It's no secret that I would like to play Champions League one day in my career. It it's meant to be, it will be.



    "What I do is focus on the teams that I play for and I give my heart to them, work as hard as I can to try to make the most of my time and make the most of the career that I have left."
