Clint Dempsey eyes Fulham exit door

USA international Clint Dempsey has invited offers from Champions League competitors, after the winger admitted that he would consider a move away from Craven Cottage.

  • American international coach Jurgen Klinsmann told reporters that Dempsey needs to pursue a move away from Fulham if he is to fulfill his potential, and needs to play in Europe's premier competition the Champions League.<br />

    Now the American forward admitted he would be open to offers: "The transfer window is open until Aug. 31. It's no secret that I would like to play Champions League one day in my career. It it's meant to be, it will be.<br />

    "What I do is focus on the teams that I play for and I give my heart to them, work as hard as I can to try to make the most of my time and make the most of the career that I have left."
