Arsenal target Shaw signs Southampton deal

Arsenal target Luke Shaw has agreed to sign a new five year contract with Southampton. The talented defender had been monitored by the Gunners' scouts in recent weeks, but Shaw looks set to stay at St Mary's fior the time being.

The 17-year-old will put pen to paper on a fresh deal with the Saints in July on his 18th birthday.<br />

The left back has already proved an excellent addition to the Premier League sides squad, and has appear for England's under 17 side.<br />

Shaw has played 11 times for Southampton in the Premier League this year already and continues to impress.
