Valencia striker Fernando Morientes has declared himself happy at the Che, and has rejected interest linking him with a move to Espanyol and Getafe. The players agent spoke out and claims he is ready to score many goals for the Valencians.
Gines Carvajal said: "Morientes needs affection, you need to lift his morale when he does not score so that he is not depressed.
"There is no other one like him in Spanish soccer. This summer, watching who Valencia was signing, I spoke with him and he said to me that he wanted to remain. Also Miguel Angel Ruiz assured me that he was essential."
