Norwich City could make a move for Swedish international striker Marcus Berg, after the forward was told that he would be free to leave Hamburg in the January transfer window.
The player has already racked up 13 games in the Bundesliga for HSV, but despite regular first team football the player looks set to quit the club.
The Carrow Road club are happy to take the player on loan initially, until the end of the season, and then they are free to sign the forward permanently in a 7.5 million Euro deal.
