Fulham hoping to sign Stekelenberg

16 January 2013 - 07:20

Fulham manager Martin Jol is hopeful that a deal for Roma and Holland international goalkeeper Maarten Stekelenberg can be agreed this month.

  • Chelsea ready to pay €75m for Eduardo Camavinga
  • Chelsea planning move for Strasbourg striker Joaquin Panichelli

  • Roma's goalkeeper has been told he is free to leave Italy, and Fulham are eager to find competition for current number 1 goalkeeper Mark Schwarzer.

The Australian is now considered a veteran and Jol is ready to find a successor.

Stekelenberg might be available for as little as £3million.
