Beckham seals Paris St Germain move

01 February 2013 - 06:45

37-year-old David Beckham sensationally revealed last night that he had agreed a move to Paris St Germain on a five month contract. Beckham has been out of action since quitting LA Galaxy.

  • Arsenal to swap Gabriel Jesus for Inter Milan star?
  • Arsenal leading race to sign Belgian midfielder

  • Beckham has also revealed that his salary will be donated to a children's charity.

"I'm excited," Beckham said. "It's something we've been talking about for quite a while. I'm very lucky. I'm 37 years old and I got a lot of offers - more now than I've probably had in my career. I chose Paris because I can see what the club are trying to do - I can see the players the club are bringing in.

"There is a club that is going to have a lot of success over the next ten, 15, 20 years. For now, to be part of something is growing is exciting. I'm very honoured that I've been picked to be part of the future at PSG."
