Manchester City have agreed a fee with Shakhtar Donetsk for the signing of midfielder Fernandinho. The 28-year-old, capped by his country 5 times, has seen his club agree a fee with City of around £24 million.
Fernandinho has played in the Ukraine for over eight seasons and has been a long term target of the Citizens. The player has taken part in over 180 league games for the club, scoring 32 goals. <br />
The Brazilian will be City's second major signing of the summer, after also agreeing a fee with Sevilla for the signing of Spain international Jesus Navas.
