  • The France youth international has recently burst onto the scene for Le Havre in the French leagues; numerous scouts were monitoring his progress but it appears that Sunderland have won the race to secure his signature.

Comfortable playing anywhere in midfield, Ba is a very versatile player who is able to play equally well defensively and offensively.

Sunderland's manager Paolo Di Canio has made his first moves in the transfer market and is expected to be very busy this summer.
