Jordi Amat linked with Swansea move

Swansea City have been linked with a move for a central defender Jordi Amat. The 21-year-old is currently playing for Spanish side Espanyol and the Spanish under-21 side.

Barcelona have also been linked with a move for the highly rated central defender, but it appears Swansea are in pole position as they offer the guarantee of regular first team football.<br />

Amat is worth approximately 4 million Euros to Espanyol, as both Swansea and the Spanish look to revamp their squad in time for the new season.
