Spurs and Gunners monitoring M’vila

Spurs and Gunners monitoring M’vila

20 June 2013 - 13:32

Yann M’vila could be on the move again this summer in spite of having a poor season with Rennes and Rubin Kazan. This could encourage Arsenal as well as Tottenham Hotspurs to revive their interest on the French International.

 • Man Utd to beat Chelsea to Sunderland star?
 • Chelsea star out for three weeks after hamstring injury
 • The highly rated 22 year old , came from the bottom ranks of Rennes academy to make a name for himself and made a surprise switch to Rubin Kazan in the January transfer window.
He struggled with knee troubles at Rubin Kazan which limited his first team league outings to just five last season.
He has attracted deep interest from the mega-rich Anzhi Makhachkala. The Dagestan-based club are desperate to add M’vila to their midfield to pair him with former Chelsea and Arsenal anchorman Lassana Diarra.
Arsenal and Spurs are believed to be in the search for a defensive midfielder this summer and could give Anzhi a fight in the race to sign the Frenchman, if Rubin signal their willingness.
