Borussia Dortmund have not given up hope in their chase to sign Chelsea's young Belgian midfielder Kevin De Bruyne. The player spent last year on loan at Werder Bremen and impressed many Bundesliga pundits.

  • Man Utd agree deal with AC Milan for striker
  • Arsenal make surprise bid for German 22-year-old defender

  • Kevin De Bruyne apparently is eager to quit the Blues as he doesn't think he will be playing regular first team football next year. The Belgian is ready to quit Chelsea in favour of a move elsewhere.

"We respect the contract situation at Chelsea," Dortmund director Michael Zorc said. "But we will keep it rolling."

Dortmund were hoping to sign De Bruyne as a replace for Mario Goetze, who joined bitter rivals Bayern Munich last month.
