West Ham to sign Jefferson Montero

The Guardian has reported that Ecuadorian winger Jefferson Montero is on the cusp of a move to West Ham. The London club have reportedly agreed terms with Montero's club Morelia, in a deal worth approximately $4 million.

Montero only joined the Mexican club last year and has gone on to play 36 games for the club. Morelia's winger is a first team regular for both club and country.<br />

According to reports, the Hammers have already agreed a contract worth an estimated&nbsp;&pound;30,000&nbsp;per week with the player.
