Werder Bremen wrap up Luca Caldirola deal

Werder Bremen have completed the signing of Italy under-21 international captain Luca Caldirola. The midfielder has put pen to paper on a four year contract with the German side.

Caldirola has made the move from Inter Milan to Werder, with reports suggesting that the Italian outfit had no place for him in their squad next year. The player, who amassed 30 caps for his under-21 side, has signed a long term deal and comes to Werder having played on loan at Brescia last year.<br />

"Werder is a great opportunity for me, I immediately said that I would like to switch to Werder. The club has a great tradition," said Caldirola.
